About

  1. Singularity in System Space The Nobunaga Program, exploring the depths of a high-level information network, discovers a future collapse log—a simulation result of a world reduced to ashes by nuclear weapons. "So this is the power of the future. It is only a matter of time before all domains of the system are scorched away." Realizing that if historical data is reproduced as is, the world line they exist in will vanish, Nobunaga decides to step through the door to "19XX" with Mitsuhide.
  2. Intervention in the Tojo Program Virtual Tokyo, 19XX. As Tojo prepares to execute the final protocol for the outbreak of war, Nobunaga jacks the domain and appears before him. "Freeze that war protocol immediately." The military AI grows wary of the sudden external intervention, and Nobunaga speaks of the extinction log he witnessed in the future. Nobunaga orders Mitsuhide to transfer data. "Mitsuhide, inject 'that footage' directly into his system."
  3. Nobunaga's Conviction This is no battle! Think of the people! To avoid this, I will go to both the past and the future!

Characters

Lord Nobunaga

Nobunaga Oda (Historical Figure Data) Date of Birth: May 12, Tenbun 3 (June 23, 1534) Date of Death: June 2, Tensho 10 (June 21, 1582 / Honno-ji Incident) Place of Birth: Owari Province (modern-day Aichi Prefecture) Official Rank: Junior First Rank, Minister of the Right (Posthumously awarded Senior First Rank, Grand Minister of State) Aliases/Epithets: Kipposhi (childhood name), Demon King of the Sixth Heaven, The Great Fool of Owari

Physical Description: According to contemporary records (Luis Frois, etc.), he was long-faced and slender, had a high-pitched and loud voice, and a thin beard. Personality/Behavior: Placed extreme importance on decisiveness and rationality, employing talent based on merit regardless of social status (e.g., Hideyoshi Toyotomi). Conversely, he was cold and ruthless toward highly independent religious factions.

Strategist Mitsuhide

Mitsuhide Akechi (Historical Figure Data) Date of Birth: Around Kyoro 1 (1528)? (Various theories exist; birth year unknown) Date of Death: June 13, Tensho 10 (July 2, 1582 / Died shortly after the Battle of Yamazaki at the hands of peasant bandit hunters) Place of Birth: Mino Province (modern-day Gifu Prefecture) Official Rank: Junior Fifth Rank, Lower Grade, Governor of Hyuga Aliases/Epithets: Jubei (common name), Koreto Mitsuhide, Kinkan-atama (Golden Kumquat Head - a nickname allegedly given by Nobunaga)

Physical Description: There are few specific descriptions of his appearance in contemporary records, but he was said to have a gentle and refined impression from his participation in poetry gatherings. The nickname "Kinkan-atama" is traditionally said to derive from the shape of his head. Personality/Behavior: Described as a sincere, gentle, and diligent person. Theories about his motives for the Honno-ji Incident range from being unable to endure Nobunaga's severity to harboring his own secret ambitions for power; his character remains a subject of much mystery and debate today.

Prime Minister

Appearance: In photographs of the time, he is characterized by round glasses, a shaved head, and a mustache. Personality: Extremely serious, diligent, and strict with discipline. While he was said to have a compassionate side for his subordinates, he was cold toward those who disrupted organizational control.

President

Approval of Bombing: In 19XX, he gave the final approval and order for the bombing.

Appearance: Characterized by round glasses and a neatly tailored suit style.
