The eldest son of Oda Nobunaga. Historically, he committed suicide during the Battle of Nijo Castle after the Honno-ji Incident, but in this story, he must escape at all costs to regroup at Azuchi.

Nobunaga's younger brother and Nobutada's uncle. He is secretly plotting to force Nobutada into suicide so he can seize leadership of the Oda clan. In a sense, he is an enemy.

A former retainer of Saito Dosan. He is famous for being scolded by Dosan for calling Nobunaga a fool. He possesses memories of a past life and cooperates to help Nobutada escape.

After striking down Oda Nobunaga at Honno-ji, he closes in on Nijo Castle. His target is Nobutada's head.

The Kyoto Magistrate. In the previous life, his delayed judgment led to Nobutada's suicide. His quick decision-making is the key to success here.

The son of Mori Shinsuke.

A cousin of Akechi Mitsuhide who is eager to pursue and capture Nobutada.

Akechi Mitsuhide's uncle. He is tasked with the mission of hunting down Nobutada.

A kunoichi hired by Mori Shinsuke for this very moment. She plays an active role in creating distractions during the escape.

A senior Oda vassal known as 'Rice Gorōza.' He is waiting south of Kyoto in Sakai with troops intended for the Shikoku expedition. Upon hearing of Nobutada's survival, he will lead a massive army to challenge the Akechi forces.
