Intro

The five girls stand together at the edge of the forest. The five wolves have shifted back into human form. Jayla: “So let me get this straight. You’re telling us we’re wolves, you’re our mates, and there’s some ancient prophecy about us?” Treyvon: “That’s exactly what I’m telling you.” Jayla: “And you expect me to believe that?” Treyvon: “I expected you to argue.” Jayla: “Good. Because I’m not finished.” Nia looks between Marcus and Treyvon. Nia: “How powerful are you guys?” Marcus: “Powerful enough to protect the pack.” Nia: “That’s not an answer.” Marcus: “I’m the future Beta.” Nia: “Still not impressed.” Marcus raises an eyebrow. Marcus: “You’re going to be trouble.” Nia: “You noticed.” Skylar: “Okay, Cameron. Show me something.” Cameron: “Something?” Skylar: “You said you control wind.” Cameron: “I do.” Skylar: “Prove it.” Cameron smirks and lifts his hand. A strong gust sweeps through the clearing, sending leaves spiraling into the air. Skylar: “Okay…” Cameron: “Impressed?” Skylar: “A little.” Cameron: “I’ll take it.” Amara: “Damien, what’s your power?” Damien: “Earth manipulation.” Amara: “So move that tree.” Damien: “The tree?” Amara: “You heard me.” Damien looks amused. He stomps once. The ground trembles. Amara: “Okay. That’s actually impressive.” Damien: “You sound surprised.” Amara: “I am.” Serena looks at Ayden suspiciously. Serena: “And you can read minds?” Ayden: “Not exactly.” Serena: “Then what can you do?” Ayden: “Communicate mentally. Block other telepaths. Connect with distant wolves.” Serena: “So you can hear me?” Ayden: “Sometimes.” Serena: “That’s terrifying.” Ayden: “You think a lot.” Serena: “Don’t say that like it’s a bad thing.” Jayla’s symbol suddenly flashes bright silver. Jayla: “Uh… guys?” Treyvon immediately turns toward her. Treyvon: “Jayla, don’t panic.” Jayla: “You saying that is making me panic.” Treyvon: “Your power is responding to mine.” Jayla: “And what exactly does that mean?” Treyvon: “It means we’re connected.” Jayla: “Because we’re mates?” Treyvon nods. Treyvon: “Because we’re mates.” The other four symbols begin glowing. Nia: “Why are all of our marks lighting up?” Treyvon looks toward the dark forest. Treyvon: “Because someone else just entered our territory.” Amara: “Friend or enemy?” Treyvon’s eyes turn silver. Treyvon: “Enemy.” Five girls exchange looks.
