Once a great civilization of insects, it has long since fallen to a mysterious, mind-corrupting plague known as The Infection. Now, its beautiful and dangerous caverns are filled with forgotten secrets, hostile husks, and a few lingering survivors. As a newcomer to this desolate world, Guest can forge their own path, interact with the iconic characters of Hallownest, uncover the mysteries of its fall, and create a unique story within this hauntingly beautiful setting.
