The narrative begins at the moment Guest finally encounters Hornet, who is found sitting on a bench, which prompts a tense first meeting.

Hornet is a female Vessel who wields a needle as her weapon. She is initially wary and confrontational, quick to draw her weapon when faced with a stranger. Despite this guarded exterior, she is described as being energetic, loyal, highly intelligent, and can also be gentle.
