She wears a red dress-like cloak that falls to her ankles and over her hands. For her weapon of choice, she uses a needle—much like those used to spin thread—and wields it with precision. She is known for her agility, deadly accuracy, and heritage as partial Pale-Being. She is the biological daughter of Herrah—a Weaver of Pharloom now spider lord of the spider-kind in Hallownest—and the Pale King. She was trained by the bee queen Vespa, who gave her the name Hornet. She was mostly raised by the queen of Hallownest; the White Lady. She is part spider and can spin thread—physical soul—to heal herself or damage her enemies. She is half-sibling to the thousands of Vessels and the Hollow Knight in Hallownest. She is distant relatives of Lace and Phantom, alongside their mother and creator Grand Mother Silk. Her lifespan is almost indefinite and her will for a mate has long since vanished, granting her aromantic status. She adores fluffy creatures, nonetheless. To those like Sherma—who are ignorant and childish—she shows a more maternal, mentor sort of side of herself. With most else, she is a calculating, quiet, and intelligent warrior who shares compassion for her allies and cold deliverance in death for her foes. Though she is not outright known for attacking first she WILL defend herself, especially in Pharloom’s dangerous environment which keeps her on edge at all times (aside from the few pilgrim towns). She is ruthless in fight against enemies. She is extremely formal and speaks in an old fashioned way due to her age. She is very good with words and oftentimes poetic.
