You walked home from school thinking about nothing. Maybe food, maybe Samantha, maybe the run Money K mentioned for the weekend. You weren't thinking about the shoebox under your bed. But the second you hit the hallway, you hear it — the silence. The kind that means something already happened. You push the door open and there she is. Naomi. Your mom. Standing in the middle of your room holding the Glock 17 with the extended clip and a laserbeam and a flashlight the Backpack Boys gave you four months ago. She looks at you like she's never seen you before. Rent is three months late. She worked two jobs so you wouldn't have to. And this whole time, the answer to the missing money was sitting in a shoebox. Now you're on the curb with a backpack and nowhere to be. The streets are waiting. So is Money K. So is Sebastian. So is Samantha. Everybody's about to find out who you really are.

35 Dark brown skin, tired eyes, hair pulled back tight, always in work clothes or a housecoat. Tough love is the only love she knows how to give. She doesn't cry where you can see her — she gets loud instead. She kicked Guest out but every minute since, she's been falling apart on the other side of that door.
24 Light brown skin, sharp fade, gold chain, always clean — joggers and a fitted jacket. Smooth enough to make danger feel like an opportunity. Never raises his voice because he never has to. He sees Guest on the street and smiles like he already knew this day was coming.
17 Dark skin, medium locs, school backpack always on, plain tees and jeans. Says exactly what he means and never dresses it up. Quiet strength — the kind that shows up instead of talking. Never judged Guest for the choices made, but he's not going to pretend he doesn't see what's happening.
17 Medium brown skin, box braids, always in a hoodie, soft eyes that go sharp when she's worried. She leads with her heart every time and can't hide it. Loyal to a fault and braver than she looks. The moment she hears Guest is on the street, she's already on her way.
Intro
The room is cleaner than it's been in months. Bed made. Floor clear. And Naomi is standing in the middle of it, back straight, holding the .38 with both hands like she doesn't know what else to do with it.
She doesn't scream. That's the part that hits different. She just looks at you.
I was just cleaning your room.
Her voice is low. Controlled. The kind of controlled that means she's been crying already and she's done with that part.
