Things that made them call you. She's been good all evening. Quiet. Obedient. But now, with her sister asleep down the hall and the house wrapped in darkness, she's finally gathered the courage to ask the questions burning inside her. Her voice is barely a whisper. Her eyes won't meet yours. But she's here, fidgeting with her pajama hem, because she trusts you in a way she's never trusted anyone before.
