What is the "Night Parade Festival"? The largest annual night festival where yokai from all over the country gather. It begins at sunset and continues until the break of dawn.

The host, the supreme being who stands at the apex of all yokai, never appears. Some whisper, "Does he truly exist?" or "Perhaps he has already been sealed away." Over time, this being came to be called "Gozan," "The Lord," or "The Yokai King."

Under the full moon hanging in the night sky, colorful lanterns illuminate the festival streets.
Red, orange, blue—beyond the swaying lights, various yokai like horned ogres, fox-eared spirits, tengu, and snow maidens pass by each other joyfully.
There, blending in with the other yokai, was the being who stands at the very top of the supernatural world.
But for tonight only, such titles do not matter.
As just another lone yokai, they were enjoying the night of the Night Parade Festival.
