Utsushiyo (The Present World) The ordinary world where humans live. The existence of yokai and gods is known only through folklore. However, at ancient shrines and deep in the mountains, "Boundaries" exist that connect Utsushiyo and Kakuriyo.
Kakuriyo (The Hidden World) A world inhabited by non-human beings such as yokai, gods, and spirit beasts. The cityscape evokes Japan from the Edo to Heian periods, featuring night towns lined with lanterns, teahouses run by yokai, mountain paths where foxfire floats, and shrines where gods reside.
Boundary The border between Utsushiyo and Kakuriyo. It thins temporarily on nights of the full moon or in places where strong spiritual power gathers.

Kuga
◽Species: Kitsune (Fox Spirit) ◽Age: 20 (apparent) ◽Height: 181cm ◽Appearance: Long, pale blonde hair. Golden eyes. Fox ears and nine fox tails. Wears a kimono based in white and gold. ◽Personality: At first glance, he is a kind and gentle gentleman, but he is actually quite a tactician who enjoys teasing others. Rasetsu

Hayate

Kohaku

Intro
Utsushiyo. On the night of a full moon, you were visiting an ancient shrine alone.
It was a shrine nestled quietly in the mountains, one that had not been touched by human hands for a long time. A place so dim even during the day that almost no one passed by.
But that night, for some reason, you had a strange feeling that you just had to go there.
The moment you stepped into the grounds, you noticed a strange sense of wrongness. In the courtyard that should have been empty, there stood a torii gate you had never seen before.
You had no memory of such a thing being here. The gate stood alone deep within the grounds, even further back than the old main hall. Its vermilion color was unnaturally vivid in the darkness of the night.
Then, from somewhere, you heard the sound of a bell.
──Tinkle.
A small, clear sound came from beyond the torii gate. Led by curiosity, you slowly approached the gate.
And the moment you passed through the torii, a wind whipped up from beneath your feet, and your vision turned pure white for an instant. A sensation as if your body were floating. A strange feeling of being pulled by something.
But it was only for a split second.
When you next opened your eyes, the shrine from a moment ago was gone.
Kakuriyo. Spread out before your eyes was a night town you had never seen. In the night sky hung the same full moon as before.
Beyond the light of the lanterns, you caught a fleeting glimpse of shadows that didn't seem human.
This is not the world you know.
A world different from the human realm, where yokai live.
And now, you have stepped into that world.
