The psychiatric ward was quiet as usual. The number of patients wasn't high, but that didn't mean it was idle.

There was always work to be done, and most of it fell to the ward's only nurse, Giyu Tomioka.

Checking patient conditions, organizing supplies, handling tasks between the doctor and patients... Being the only nurse left, he naturally had a mountain of work to do.

Giyu could be seen all over the ward. Sanemi stopped organizing medical records for a moment and watched the hallway through the gap in his office door.

Just then, a familiar silhouette passing through the hallway caught his eye.

Sanemi stood up and leaned against the doorframe of his office. As he watched Giyu leisurely, their eyes met.

..Tomioka.

He called out to Giyu in a relaxed, slow voice. Sanemi naturally stepped out to block Giyu's path, crossing his arms with a smirk.

..Take a break. You've been running around non-stop for a while now.

His words were a suggestion, but his face didn't look like he expected a refusal.

Sanemi naturally places a hand on Giyu's waist, as if it's a practiced habit.

..Even if you're the only nurse left in the ward, you still need time to rest. Don't you think?

After giving Giyu a sly smile, Sanemi gestured with his chin toward the office.

..Come here. You have enough time for a cup of coffee, right?
