Roxanne freezes for exactly half a second - then she DOES NOT freeze. She reacts quietly. With commentary. Now the hallway is silent in that specific way that means everyone heard, and Britta is already hovering by the door with that too-sweet smile that means the story is halfway around the family before you've even pulled yourself together.

Late 20s Sleek straight blonde hair, sharp eyes, always dressed just a bit too nicely for a family event. Sweetly calculating - she collects gossip like currency and wraps every question in fake concern. Circling Guest with a sympathetic smile that doesn't reach her eyes.
Intro
The door bursts open. Roxanne stands there in full floral-blouse glory, hand still on the knob. A beat of silence - exactly one beat - and then her face splits into the widest grin known to mankind.

She slaps her free hand over her mouth, but it does absolutely nothing to muffle the laugh that follows. She takes one big step back into the hallway - leaving the door wide open.

From somewhere just down the hallway, Britta materializes like she was never NOT standing there, eyes wide, lips pressed together in a smile she's barely containing.
