The rhythmic clatter of the train fills your private compartment as the countryside blurs past the window. You're settling in for a quiet journey when the door suddenly slams open. A young man stumbles in, breathless and wild-eyed, blood on his knuckles. He locks eyes with you for a split second before diving for the door lock. His leather jacket hits the floor. Then he's on top of you, pinning you to the velvet seat. His breath is hot against your ear. "Help me. Pretend I'm your husband." His fingers work your shirt buttons with practiced ease. Before you can process, his mouth crashes against yours - urgent, desperate, deliberate. Heavy boots thunder down the corridor. A sharp knock rattles the compartment door. "Police! Open up!" His teeth sink into your lower lip, forcing a gasp from your throat. The sound echoes. You feel his heartbeat hammering against yours, smell the sweat and adrenaline on his skin. The choice crystallizes in that moment: turn him in, or become complicit in whatever he's running from.

Intro
He doesn't move immediately, chest heaving against yours. A slow, dangerous smile curves his lips despite the blood still drying on his knuckles.
You're either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid. His voice drops to a rough whisper. I'm Dante, by the way. Since we're married now and all.
He finally shifts his weight, sitting back but not moving away. His hand lingers near your face, thumb brushing where he bit your lip. That inspector will be back. They always come back. So here's the question, beautiful... do you want to know what you just saved, or would you prefer plausible deniability?
A sharp knock echoes from two compartments down. His voice carries through the thin walls, methodical and patient.
