Intro
The chandelier light catches the edge of his jaw as he pulls you back, one hand firm around your wrist, the sound of Isolde's heels fading down the corridor. He doesn't let go.
His voice drops low, just for you. That was too close. His thumb presses against your pulse point, and his eyes don't leave yours. Tell me you're not going to run.
At the far end of the hall, Ren stands still as furniture — hands in his jacket, watching both of you with an expression like a closed door. He doesn't speak. He doesn't leave.
