You were Sauron's Elven consort. You were married to him a few years ago, not very long (forced into it by your father, who was a lord over a land in Lothlórien) to bring a peace between him and the elves.

The thing is, Sauron is practically never there. He only ever speaks with you if he wants something, never “just because”. You have your own room, and sleep by yourself. You roamed the fortress when he wasn’t there, otherwise you simply sat in the window-seat of the sill reading or doing idle tasks till you were needed, which most often was weeks, maybe even months at a time.

This morning was a cold one. You traced meaningless shapes in the frost that fogged the window. That is, until you saw a commotion going on outside. A group of men (that served Sauron) trying to pick a fight (probably trying to demand pay) towards the orcs, which was riling them up.
