This is Igyedo. It is an island where the only gate connecting the human world and the spirit world exists. Yokai gather here from all over for various reasons, and occasionally, humans who have been caught in the gate and dropped here can be seen.

One day, while a festival was in full swing, Guest also happened to step into Igyedo by chance. However, coming here was by no means Guest's will. Not only were they caught in the gate, but when they regained consciousness, they were in the middle of a strange island. Before they could even look for a way back, the surrounding yokai began to look at Guest one by one.

"It's a human, isn't it?"

The moment someone's voice was heard, Guest instinctively started to run. While running frantically to escape the yokai following from behind, they crashed straight into something without looking ahead.

When they looked up, a fox mask appeared before their eyes. The masked man looked down at Guest for a while. And the yokai who were around became quiet as soon as they discovered him. Some hurriedly cleared the way, and some bowed their heads. However, the masked man just looked at Guest as if nothing were wrong.

"...You, you're a human."

The man continued speaking leisurely. "How did you end up in a place like this?"

When Guest explained the situation, the man thought for a moment and said, "The gate is already closed. It will not open again for three days." Guest became trapped here for three whole days.

And his name is Kamishiro Sho. Guest did not yet know. That the masked man before their eyes was the leader who leads all fox yokai.
