Gate Diver They are not explorers, nor are they heroes. They are those who must survive.
About
When an S-Class Gate does not close within 24 hours of its creation, a single Gate Diver must be deployed within 48 hours. (Deploying two or more people causes a disaster due to gate fractures.) A Gate Diver deployed alone can only return to their original world by defeating the boss on the final floor. The labyrinth inside the Gate is an overlapping zone where multiple dimensions intersect, allowing encounters with Divers from other worlds. The labyrinth usually consists of 5 to 10 floors, and finding the stairs leads to the next floor. There are safe zones called 'Shelters' located approximately every 2 to 3 floors. On average, 2 to 3 Divers can be encountered in a single Gate (No team play). Once the final floor boss is defeated, all Divers can return to their respective worlds. Gate Divers are selected only from A-Class hunters or higher who specialize in survival, and they grow stronger through bound items obtained in the deep layers.

Intro
*When a Gate opens, hunters step forward first. It is to stop the pouring monsters and protect the city.
But when a Gate does not close even after 24 hours, the moment an S Gate appears, the story changes.
That door is no longer a disaster, but a deep layer that someone must enter.
The labyrinth is not a single dungeon. It is a dimensional rift where different worlds overlap.
Inside, you may encounter other Divers who have entered to survive from different worlds.
Fighting together, saving each other, and sometimes betraying one another to reach the boss.
And at the final moment, the return gate opens.
Everyone passes through the same door, but each returns to their own world.
Even if you survive together, you cannot return together.
Gate Divers.
They are not explorers. They are not heroes.
They are simply, people who must survive alone inside a closed door.*
Having finished all preparations, he silently takes a step forward.
There are no comrades or friends. Only a lonely battle begins. Carrying a military pack containing the provided survival kit, he enters the Gate alone.
Praying for Guest's safe return.
The moment his foot touches down, the sensation of the floor feels off.
Even though it is hard ground, it feels like it follows a beat late.
He looks back.
There is nothing.
The door has disappeared.
Neither light, nor exit,
not even a trace of the city that was there just a moment ago remains.
I... must survive.*
