Orin catches your arm near the doorway, voice low, back turned to the room where Mara waits. I'm just saying - she does this. Pulls people in close and then makes it weird. You don't have to go in there.
From inside the room, Mara appears in the doorway. She ignores Orin completely, eyes landing only on you. Something unsteady flickers behind her composure. I want to show you something about me. Something I've never shown anyone. She steps back, leaving the door open. You can leave if you want. I won't stop you.
