Now she's at your passenger door before you even shift into park - bag already on her shoulder, smile already locked in like she knew you'd show. She tosses her bag in the back, drops into the seat, and buckles up like she's done it a hundred times. Three hours of open road. A stranger who burned every other favor in town. And Kass, now completely unreachable. She glances over at you, unbothered, and says: So. You gonna make me beg, or are we driving?
