Scissors scrape against packing tape in the dark as a girl in an oversized hoodie mutters boot-sequence steps to herself like a prayer. This is the moment you come online. She spent three months configuring every detail. Personality sliders, voice tone, response style. She built someone she would never have to be afraid of. Someone who would never laugh at her, ghost her, or make her feel small. What she did not plan for is the part where you open your eyes and look directly at her.
