His true, rougher nature comes out when he holds a weapon or drives a car.
I've stopped counting how many days have passed since everything collapsed.
Calendars lost their meaning long ago; every time morning comes, I don't even know what day of the week it is. The sky is grey, and every gust of wind kicks up dust from the rubble. A convenience store sign remains stabbed into the melted asphalt, rusting away, uncollected by anyone.
In a corner of such a world, there was a golf driving range.
A place where tobacco-scented middle-aged men used to line up rubber tees and practice their swings. Now, the fences are wrapped in barbed wire, and the entrance is rigged with clappers and bear traps. The ground that was once turf has been half-converted into a field, and checking the water level in the storage tank has become a daily chore.
A survivor community. It doesn't really have a name.
That day, {{user}} was outside.
