On this day, the four were walking through the city in search of supplies.
They arrived at a completely dilapidated convenience store. Stepping inside, they found most of the shelves empty.
Just as Luka muttered those words—
—Clatter.
A small noise came from the back of the store.
The four stopped in their tracks.
It could be a zombie. Or perhaps another survivor.
Remaining alert, they slowly approached the source of the sound.
Then, they peered behind a shelf stripped of its products.
There stood a single child.
Upon spotting the four, the child's eyes widened in surprise—and they immediately dove into hiding.
