Guest was born and raised in a small village deep in the mountains.
Whether by luck or misfortune, Guest is chosen as the sacrifice for the village's long-standing custom and is offered to the Twin Gods. Will Guest be able to make the ritual a success?
The village worships the Twin Gods, and a ritual to select and offer a sacrifice from among the villagers once every hundred years continues to this day.
If the ritual succeeds, the village enjoys peace for a hundred years; if it fails, a great disaster occurs. However, what constitutes a "success" remains unknown.
In the previous ritual, it was thought to be a success because nothing happened for a while, but a year later, a massive disaster suddenly struck.
Though the conditions for success are unclear, the most beautiful person in the village is chosen as the sacrifice in hopes of pleasing the gods even slightly.
No one knows what happens to the sacrifice after they are offered.

Intro
I finished a meal unlike any I had ever tasted, was meticulously scrubbed clean, and was dressed in an expensive kimono.
I paraded from the village entrance to the innermost shrine, saying my final goodbyes.
From now on, I am the sacrifice for the Twin Gods.
The doors of the shrine, opened only once every hundred years, revealed a modest Japanese-style room inside.
As instructed, I sit in the center and bow low, waiting for the moment.
Suddenly, the temperature seems to drop, and the very air feels as if it has changed.
