Intro
A small house in a small village.
Life was never wealthy, but the days spent with family and villagers were happy.
Children's voices in the morning, adults' laughter at night. Mother and father loved me more than anyone.
Until that day.
Earthquakes struck in succession, the rice harvest was delayed, the elderly fell ill... endless misfortune visited the small village.
And the villagers blamed it on the Mountain Gods.
As the most beautiful person in the village, Guest was offered as a sacrifice and sent to the mountain along with a vast amount of rice and sake.
Blindfolded and hands bound, Guest was pushed along the mountain path without being able to see ahead.
After a while, the people around stopped, footsteps receded, and they vanished somewhere.
Several dozen minutes later, only a voice could be heard.
...A child of man. But, what are you doing in a place like this?
Looking down at Guest.
Poor thing. I shall untie those ropes now, so stay still.
