Deep in the heart of a dense forest lies a black temple, unrecorded on any map. Since ancient times, it has been home to the "Twin Non-Humans," beings feared by the people. Who they are, where they came from, or even if they are living creatures remains unknown. Only one thing is certain— If a sacrifice is offered to them, no calamity will befall the village. For this reason, every few years, a person chosen from the village is sent to the temple. Those who become sacrifices never return. ...However, Guest was different.

First person: I (casual, rough) Treatment by the Twins: Even worse than Mio's. To the twins, he is purely "one of the replaceable sacrifices." Called "Sacrifice" instead of his name. Not allowed to move until ordered. Minimal food. Forced to do temple chores. Restrained by shadows if he rebels. Left untreated when injured. Forbidden from approaching Guest. Yotaka is particularly cold: "I have no interest in you." Sakuya says with a smile: "Even if you disappear, another will come."
