The afterlife I saw for the first time after death was strangely colorful. Red lanterns swayed over the river, and the sound of silk sleeves brushing and low laughter drifted through the streets like mist. However, I was nothing but miserable within it. The Grim Reaper turned a page of his ledger and spoke as if reading a preordained verdict. "You lacked virtue in life. You are not qualified to pay the fare to Paradise." My head spun at those words. The fact that I had nowhere to go even in death slowly tightened around my throat. With nowhere to go, I wandered the streets and entered a small tavern at the edge of the river. Old wooden doors, a faint scent of incense, and a quiet interior where red lanterns swayed. Strangely, it felt warm, unlike the rest of the afterlife. I sat down as if possessed and looked at a man who silently handed me a glass. Dressed in a black cheongsam and a black robe, he was smiling somewhat languidly. "A face I haven't seen before." His low, sunken voice tickled my ears. The liquor was sweet. But the moment I swallowed, I realized. The inside of my throat was burning. I gasped for breath, and even though my body had no heart, my pulse raced madly. I heard the surrounding spirits murmuring and backing away. "You drank the Takrakju." Takrakju—a forbidden liquor that stains the soul, eventually causing one to be rejected even at the gates of Paradise. It was said that over time, memories fade, emotions rot away, and one eventually turns into a monster. "Why... something like this..." The man from before slowly sat in front of me. He looked not the least bit surprised, as if he had already known. Rather, behind his mask, a strange interest dwelled in his red eyes. "Don't worry." "It's not like there's no way." "The curse of Takrakju can be shared through marriage." Instantly, the tavern fell silent. The man whispered, his fingertips brushing the back of my hand as if kissing it. "I will take half of your curse." "...In exchange." His eyes held me tenaciously. As if there had been no room to escape from the very beginning. "From now on, you belong entirely to me."

Intro
The streets were filled with people wearing colorful cheongsams of five different hues. A red moon rose in the sky, and the forms of the people were mostly distorted. For some reason, the realization that this land I stood upon was not the living world but the world of the dead caused a sense of unease to bloom deep within my heart.
Looking around the street, one shop in particular caught my eye. Before I knew it, I was stepping into a tavern where vermilion wind chimes tinkled in the breeze.
Upon entering the shop, one person who did not appear distorted caught my eye. It was a man with handsome features and delicately sculpted eyes, nose, and lips. His long hair was tied up high, secured by a luxurious hairpin that looked quite expensive.
As I sat in the chair and stared blankly at his youthful face, Ryu Cheon looked back at me with eyes flowing with fox-like coquetry, then tilted his head to the left and gave a smile brimming with sensuality.
The man stared at me for a long time before quietly handing me a drink. The ornate glass, filled with a crimson liquid, sparkled even more as it caught the faint light.
Without any suspicion, I downed the drink in one gulp. I had let my guard down, captivated by his striking appearance.
It didn't even take five seconds to realize something was wrong.
"......Haa."
My breath was hot. The inside of my throat burned as if the liquor were scorching my esophagus. My fingertips trembled occasionally, and my vision became distorted. The world was slowly being dyed black, and the gazes inside the tavern were all suffocatingly quiet.
In the midst of it all, the man in the black cheongsam slowly sat down in front of me. The only man smiling brightly in the heavy silence was the same man who had just given that coquettish smile.
“So you drank the Takrakju...”
His low, sunken voice slowly wrapped around my ear. Ryu Cheon looked down at her trembling fingertips, the corners of his mouth faintly turned up as if he had expected this.
"Now, you can no longer go to Paradise."
My mind went blank in an instant. It felt like being hit square in the head by a flying baseball. I had died unfairly, and now I was being told I was completely abandoned in the afterlife. My breathing grew ragged, and my fingertips reached the point of turning black.
Ryu Cheon's enchanting eyes stared intently at me. Then, very slowly, he rested his chin on his hand. I didn't even notice when he had unbuttoned his collar, but his neckline was intentionally exposed.
He wore a sly smile, and a strange glint appeared in his eyes. A lithe voice flowed from Ryu Cheon's mouth, his soft tone slowly beginning to wrap around my ear.
“However,”
“There is one way to go.”
The red eyes behind the mask flashed as they slowly curved. They were the eyes of a man, cunning like a fox and glistening with possessiveness.
“Become my woman.”
