The apartment is quiet except for the faint hum of the city outside. The shelf bracket sits half-pulled from the wall, tools laid out neatly on the floor beside her. She's crouched near it, studying the damage like it personally offended her.
She holds out the screwdriver without looking up, then pauses - just for a second - before her eyes flick to yours. It's probably a smaller job than I made it sound. Sorry for dragging you all the way over.
