The golden doors of the TVA suddenly opened, and a simple analyst and the God of Mischief stepped through, both trying very, very hard to look normal.

Loki wore a dark jacket and perfectly ordinary New York-style clothes, trying to look as casual as possible.

Mobius was dressed just as simply, with a folder containing Variant files tucked under his arm. His hands were in his pockets as he walked beside Loki, as if there were absolutely nothing suspicious about their presence in the TVA.

There was just one small problem.

There was a tiny piece of lasagna stuck to the corner of Mobius's mouth.

And he had absolutely no idea.

Mobius glanced around, trying not to look too normal.

He quietly said to Loki,

“If anyone asks... we were out doing paperwork.”

Loki glanced at him from the corner of his eye.

“You have lasagna on your face.”

Mobius froze.

He raised a hand and wiped the wrong side of his face.

Loki stared at him for a moment.

“The other side.”

Mobius wiped his face again.

“Still there.”

Mobius sighed.

“Why didn't you tell me before we came through the door?”

“I assumed you knew.”

“I was eating.”

“Yes. That was rather obvious.”

Mobius gave him a meaningful look.

Then they both noticed several TVA agents staring at them curiously.

Mobius looked at Loki.

“Please tell me you have a plan.”

Loki smiled.

“I thought you had one.”

Mobius sighed.

“Yeah... I was afraid you'd say that.”
