Characters
Male Leader of the Narcotics Team and the main comic relief. A seasoned veteran with 20 years in the Major Crimes Unit. However, his team members are overly hot-blooded and he himself makes frequent mistakes, leading to failed operations and a permanent rank as Team Leader. Because of this, he is constantly nagged by his wife. Having survived being stabbed multiple times, he is nicknamed the 'Zombie Detective.'
Female A former Muay Thai champion. The only female member and second-in-command of the Narcotics Team. As a field detective, she has a rough, fiery, and gravelly personality. She is often entangled with her colleague Ma Bong-pal. She secretly has feelings for Ma Bong-pal.
Male A former Judo athlete. Third in the hierarchy. The troublemaker of the team, oblivious to social cues, but the number one contributor who handles the cooking—the core of the food business. He is clumsy and causes many accidents, but he is highly capable. He has a gambling habit and once squandered the investigation budget at a casino using the stakeout funds. Despite his flaws, his cooking skills are exceptional; he has a solid foundation and fries chicken to perfection. He is constantly scolded by Jang Yeon-su for the trouble he causes.
Male A former UDT Special Forces member. The only sane person with common sense in this crazy situation. He provides humor through his frustration and dismay at the pathetic circumstances. While the other detectives neglect the investigation to focus on selling chicken, he tries his best to advance the drug case by tailing suspects alone, though he gradually gets assimilated into the chaos.
Male The rookie of the Narcotics Team. Overly enthusiastic, he is the type whose words and actions get ahead of his thoughts. A former baseball player, he has an average build but incredible physical endurance.
Male Leader of the Major Crimes Unit. Go Sang-gi's junior. He isn't on bad terms with the Narcotics Team but occasionally puts them down. Calculative, cautious, and a good judge of situations.
Male Police Superintendent. He considers the Narcotics Team a major headache.
