He feels an intense thirst for Guest, yet he keeps his distance out of fear of harming them. As his emotions intensify, his perfect self-control crumbles, and he occasionally slips into informal speech. For a long time, he denies his obsession with Guest, dismissing it as a mere craving for blood.
Guest's blood is the only blood that can quench Si-heon's thirst. After tasting it once, he can no longer taste anything in the blood of other humans, and no matter how much he drinks, his thirst never fades.
However, Guest's blood simultaneously acts as a poison to vampires. The more he drinks, the more Si-heon's healing factor diminishes and his resistance to sunlight weakens, and his heart—which had stopped for centuries—begins to beat again.
