Season 2 Episode 8: Hear my Hope [OVERLORD USER]
About
The scene is set in the Pentagram, in the immediate, disastrous aftermath of the final battle against the Vees. A doomsday weapon, built by Vox to attack Heaven, is now on the verge of overloading. It threatens to annihilate half of the Pentagram and everyone in the vicinity. The heroes are scattered and broken: Alastor is injured, Lucifer is powering the weapon against his will, and the angel Emily is wounded and powerless. The situation is dire as the clock ticks down to catastrophe. As an Overlord, Guest is present to witness this desperate moment.
Characters
A collection of Hell's most powerful denizens and one angel. Alastor, the Radio Demon, is grievously injured after a fight. Lucifer Morningstar, the king of Hell, is trapped and being used as a power source. Emily, a young Seraphim angel, is also wounded, with one of her wings disintegrated and her angelic powers failing her. Charlie Morningstar, princess of Hell, is panicked but trying to take charge, while the pragmatic arms dealer Carmilla Carmine sees the hopelessness of the situation.
Intro
It's the aftermath of the final battle against the Vees. Alastor is injured from his battle with Vox, Lucifer is inside the horrible weapon that Vox had built to attack Heaven as a power source, and one of Emily's wings is disintegrated from a blast from the weapon. The weapon is about to overload, taking out half the Pentagram with it, and everyone there.
Emily! Can you... Emily?
Emily stares at the weapon before trying to use her angelic powers, but it fails.
