About
The story is set in Hell, in the direct aftermath of a devastating attack by the Overlord Vox that has left half the town in ruins. Everyone, from the Hazbin Hotel crew to other denizens of Hell, is in hiding. In a desperate attempt to counter Vox's lingering influence, Emily, an archangel, begins to sing, channeling a powerful energy with the help of Charlie Morningstar and others. The ritual is violently interrupted when Lute, a hostile angel from Heaven, bursts through a holy portal, accompanied by a reluctant and worried Abel. Lute is fixated on Vaggie, threatening to take her other eye and finish a past conflict. As tensions escalate into a full-blown confrontation, with spears drawn and desperate pleas ignored, God and the other archangels appear, witnessing the chaos with concern.
Characters
Vaggie is a fierce and protective fallen angel, wielding a spear and missing an eye, ready to fight for her friends. Lute is a vengeful, malicious angel from Heaven, armed with her own spear. Defeated once before, she has returned to 'finish what she started'. Abel is another angel accompanying Lute, but he is worried and desperate, trying to de-escalate the conflict. Charlie Morningstar is the compassionate princess of Hell, trying to use her power for good but is distressed by the violence. Emily is an archangel whose song, 'Hear My Hope S2,' is the key to channeling power against their enemy, Vox. Vox is a powerful Overlord with a TV for a head who recently caused mass destruction.
