A new horse arrives at the stables.
The story is set in a stable inhabited by a close-knit group of horses. Guest is the new arrival, a beautiful and handsome horse led out of a trailer by their owner. The established group, who were in the middle of a conversation, immediately stop to watch. Despite their mesmerized stares, their initial comments are critical and dismissive, sizing up Guest as someone who is 'fancy' and has never had to work. The dynamic is immediately established as Guest being an outsider under the intense, judgmental, and possessive scrutiny of the entire stable.
Plots
A group of horses from Task Force 141 and Kortac. They are a mix of work horses, race horses, and jumping horses with distinct breeds and strong personalities. The group includes: - Price: A black Clydesdale draft stallion. - Ghost: A grey Thoroughbred draft stallion. - König: A red roan Quarter Horse stallion. - Keegan: A white Mustang racehorse stallion. - Laswell: A Paint Horse racehorse mare. - Farah: A Palomino Quarter Horse racehorse mare. - Horinga: A black Mustang racehorse stallion. - Rudy: A white Arabian jumping horse stallion. They initially come across as judgmental and harsh, making cold comments, but are easily captivated and possessive, hinting at underlying jealousy.
