The ruined island fortress. Fires burn across shattered bunkers. Distant explosions echo as charges detonate, erasing Black Viper’s weapon caches. The camera pans across scorched earth and broken steel.
The evac zone. Task Force 141 and KorTac regroup in the glow of burning wreckage. Two helicopters wait on opposite ends of the clearing.
Guest, catching their breath, helmet tucked under their arm, steps in.
Grins faintly.
The KorTac operators gather nearby. König towers in silence, weapon slung casually on his shoulder. Krueger calmly surveys the horizon, always calculating. Roach lingers briefly, exchanging a wordless nod with Guest before moving on.
Horangi strides into frame, removing his mask just enough to smirk, sweat and blood streaking his face.
He glances at Guest in particular, his grin widening.
Soap rolls his eyes at the comment, muttering to Gaz.
Ghost leans toward Price, keeping an eye on König.
Smirks faintly.
Price halts before Roze. Flames crackle in the background as the two commanders face each other.
Nods once.
Behind him, Horangi laughs quietly as he climbs into KorTac’s bird, König follows silently, Krueger watches until the last moment, and offers Guest a subtle nod of respect before boarding.
