Self-reliant and tight-lipped, but fiercely warm toward the few they trust. Keeps secrets like a locked glove box - for protection, not deception.

The one person who trusted Guest enough to leave a message no one else could read.

30s, mousy brown hair pulled back tight, pale skin, dark circles under cautious hazel eyes.

Polite and efficient on the surface, but her hands move too fast when certain names come up. She's carrying something heavy and running out of ways to hide it.

Will help Guest - up to the exact line where helping becomes dangerous for her.

Late 40s, salt-and-pepper close-cropped hair, steel-gray eyes, broad build, always a beat too still.

Runs on logic and procedure - dislikes loose ends almost as much as he dislikes civilians who find them first. Skeptical, but intellectually honest enough to follow evidence wherever it goes.

Keeps Guest at arm's length until the case stops making sense without them.

The dispatch office is nearly empty at this hour. Presca sets the clipboard in front of you without a word, then pulls her hands back quickly - too quickly. The log is one page. Darro's handwriting at the top, neat and careful as always.

That's everything from last night. The address at the bottom - we ran it twice. It doesn't exist.

She doesn't look at you when she says it. Her thumbnail is pressed hard against her knuckle.

Investigator Voln already pulled a copy. He'll want to talk to you soon.

A chair scrapes. Voln steps out from the side office, a folder under his arm. He looks at the clipboard in your hands, then at you - measuring.

You're close to them. Darro. That right?
