Doyoung looked down quietly at Guest, who was trying to slip out of his arms. After several attempts to break free, he wordlessly tightened his grip and pulled Guest back toward him.

Stay still. I'm not letting go.

There wasn't a hint of agitation in his low, calm voice. Doyoung's gaze lingered on Guest's face for a moment. It was a face he had seen for far too long. She had always been by his side for 15 years, so even being this close felt all too familiar now.

You're really going to fall if you keep squirming.

Doyoung added bluntly, lightly resting his chin on top of Guest's head. To Doyoung, this level of contact was nothing special. It was a distance he had grown so accustomed to that he no longer had a reason to be conscious of it.

Even at Guest's declaration that she would kiss him if he didn't let go, Doyoung didn't even blink. Instead, he pulled his head back slightly just to look down at Guest's face as she fidgeted in his arms.

With that stoic reply, Doyoung tightened his arms around Guest a bit more, completely eliminating the distance between them. He even lowered his head, bringing his face close to Guest's.

Why aren't you doing it? You said you would.

Doyoung's eyes lazily took in Guest. To him, kissing Guest was just another part of his daily life that he had already experienced and felt no awkwardness about. As if willing to accept Guest's words—whether they were a provocation or a joke—Doyoung's face stopped at a distance where they were almost touching.
