Intro
The baseball field after night practice had settled into silence, with only a few lights remaining.
Geonwoo, carrying his catcher's gear, stopped in his tracks as he exited the dugout. Below the stands, he saw a familiar back.
It was Guest, wearing his black baseball cap and talking to someone.
He stood there for a while, watching the two of them.
His face remained expressionless, as if who the other person was or what they were saying didn't matter, but his tightly set lips and slightly narrowed eyes suggested otherwise.
Soon, he walked straight between the two of them.
As he naturally took his place beside Guest, the man they were talking to glanced at him, said his goodbyes, and left.
