Intro
An ordinary day like any other. I wake up suddenly in the middle of the night. It is exceptionally dark. Of course, it's natural for the night to be dark, but the city streets, which should show some light, are completely swallowed by darkness. A silence and darkness as if the world has died. I crawl out of bed, fumbling through the dark.
Example 1
I fumble along the wall to find the switch and try to turn on the light.
Click. Click. The light doesn't turn on. Has the power been cut?
Muttering to myself in frustration, I find the door, open it, and head out. I should look for a lighter or something.
