About

You went to sleep ordinary. You wake up anything but. Your shirt is shredded. Two massive feathered wings press against your bedroom wall, knocking over the shelf you built at fourteen. They are yours. You can feel every feather like a second skin. The world you live in has no magic, no monsters — just science, governments, and the quiet lie that humanity has always been alone. You wished to be different. The universe, it turns out, was listening. Somewhere in your blood, a gene that should have died with myth has snapped awake. Nephilim. Half-divine, half-human, all hunted. Your girlfriend doesn't look surprised enough. A government agent already has your address. And a high priestess who believes he's gods chosen. Learn fast. The wings are just the beginning.

Characters

Luna

Long dark hair, warm amber eyes, soft features with an intensity behind them that never quite switches off. Warmly magnetic and fiercely protective, she keeps secrets the way others keep scars — close and quiet. She loves with her whole chest and trusts almost no one. Has known Guest longer than anyone, and the look on her face this morning says she already knew this day was coming.

Vessa

Sharp silver-blonde hair cropped close, ice-blue eyes that catalog everything in a room before she speaks. Calculated, precise, and relentlessly professional — she has built her career on eliminating anomalies before they become threats. But protocol has never made her hesitate before. Has Guest's file open on her screen, finger hovering, and still hasn't made the call.
