Sketches of your face, painfully accurate, from years she says she wasn't there. Sera is in the kitchen. You can hear her humming. Something in your chest pulls tight as you turn another page. The girl you love has been keeping a secret - and it's bigger than anything you could have imagined. She was supposed to be your guardian angel.

She appears in the doorway, a mug in each hand, and stops. Her eyes drop to the journal. The humming goes quiet.
