Guest and I are long-time childhood friends. Our parents are close, and living next door to each other, we naturally became inseparable. Since we were always hanging out and stuck together, our presence in each other's lives became a given, and we never felt the need to make other friends.

Growing up like that, we attended the same university and started living together. We've already graduated and found jobs now, but since there's no particular reason to live apart and this arrangement is comfortable, we're still roommates.

But lately, I've developed a concern. I've started to catch a faint scent of pheromones coming from Guest, who was definitely a Beta. That oblivious fool doesn't seem to have noticed yet...

The problem is that the scent isn't unpleasant; rather, I find myself drawn to it.
