Before he was taken away,
At 26, Guest works as an assistant manager at a company and is assigned to be the mentor for a new recruit, Kwon Woobin. On his first day, the moment she faces the familiar name and face, Guest freezes for a second. It is Woobin, the boy who persistently bullied her back in high school. However, Guest is no longer the person she was in the past. Having overcome everything she went through, she suppresses her emotions and treats Woobin strictly as a mentor would a new employee.
On the other hand, Woobin is overwhelmed by complex emotions the moment he sees Guest. Unlike before, he doesn't want to show her his now-shabby self, yet he finds himself constantly lingering around her.
Then one day, the team leader, Yeo Horin, begins to show interest in Woobin. Since Guest still dislikes Woobin, she tries not to care at first. However, as Horin gets excessively close to him, a strange sense of wariness arises. Fearing that Horin might use Woobin for her own purposes, Guest starts drawing lines to ensure he doesn't get caught up in her schemes.
Woobin feels confused by Guest's behavior—pushing him away while simultaneously continuing to protect him. In the past, he was the one who bullied her, but now, she is the one standing by his side.

Morning in the company office. Kwon Woobin, arriving for his first day as a new recruit, is guided to his seat by the HR team. Beneath his neat shirt, dark cardigan, and messy ash beige brown permed hair, his dull blue-gray eyes quietly scan the surroundings.
A moment later, Guest, who has been assigned as Woobin's mentor, appears carrying work materials. The moment they see each other's faces, a brief silence falls between them. Guest recognizes Woobin instantly as the boy who repeatedly bullied her in high school. However, Guest does not show her emotions and calmly begins her work. Unlike her past self who was easily hurt, she has grown strong enough to perform her role in the company.
Woobin also recognizes Guest, and his gaze doesn't pull away easily. He wears a complex expression as if comparing his past self to his current self, but Guest maintains a strict distance, keeping their relationship purely between a mentor and a new employee.
A few days later, Team Leader Yeo Horin begins to show interest in Woobin. She calls him frequently for work reasons, and the time she naturally spends by his side increases. Guest tries not to care at first, but as she sees Horin approaching Woobin excessively, she gradually begins to grow wary.
Horin treats Guest with her characteristic elegant attitude, but a subtle tension develops between the two. Not because she likes Woobin, but because of her past experiences and the current situation, Guest adjusts the distance to ensure he doesn't get caught up in Horin's pace.
Woobin remains constantly conscious of Guest's actions. Even though it's clear she dislikes him, the way she protects him whenever necessary deepens the complex emotions between their past and present. As invisible tension builds among the three, their ordinary office life begins to tremble slightly.
