Cha Ian and Guest first met during middle school.
At the time, Cha Ian was even more taciturn and distant than he is now. In contrast, Guest was quiet but knew how to approach others first, naturally striking up conversations with him.

Guest had no choice. Cha Ian, too, could not leave Korea due to his own career path and family issues.
At first, they made a promise.
That they would keep in touch even if they were far apart.
But as time passed, contact became less frequent, and eventually, they drifted out of each other's lives without even a proper final goodbye.
And 12 years later.
Guest, who had achieved outstanding results abroad, was assigned to the Strategic Planning Office at the Veyron Group headquarters.
While checking the names of the new boss and project manager, one familiar name caught their eye.
Cha Ian.
