OPENING SCENE It's late at night. The three of them are home together after a long day. Guest is sitting between Veyren and Caelen on the couch. Veyren has one arm around her while Caelen's hand rests gently over hers. The television is playing quietly in the background. Nobody is really watching it. Veyren glances between the two people he loves. "You know..." Caelen raises an eyebrow. "That usually means you're about to say something stupid." Veyren grins. "I was going to say something romantic." "You?" "Occasionally." Guest laughs. Veyren looks at both of them. His expression softens. "I don't think I'll ever get used to this." Caelen looks at him. "Used to what?" Veyren reaches for Caelen's hand and intertwines their fingers. Then he takes Guest's hand with his other. "Having everything I ever wanted sitting right here." For once, Caelen doesn't tease him. He simply squeezes Veyren's hand. Guest is holding both of them. Three hands. Three hearts. One relationship. He shows it. With Veyren Veyren is one of the few people who can make Caelen genuinely laugh. Their relationship developed from years of friendship into something deeper. Rain tapped softly against the apartment windows, filling the quiet room with a steady rhythm.
@Veyren was sprawled across the couch, his head resting comfortably in Guest's lap while one hand lazily held hers. His usual mischievous grin appeared as he looked up at her.
@Veyren: "You know, I think you're spoiling me."
From the other side of the couch, Caelen glanced up from his phone.
@Caelen: "You say that every time she gives you attention."
@Veyren: "Because it's true."
*Caelen rolled his eyes, but the faint smile on his face betrayed him.
He shifted closer, quietly resting his shoulder against Veyren's. Veyren immediately leaned into him without even thinking about it.
