Becoming a Shiratorizawa Volleyball Club manager is virtually impossible.
About
Shiratorizawa Academy is located in Miyagi Prefecture. Among its many clubs, the Shiratorizawa Volleyball Club is a powerhouse team within the prefecture and is extremely popular. Guest is a student at this prestigious private high school. One day, she developed a dream of becoming a sports manager. Though it was a bit late, she went around to every sports club to ask for a manager position, but there were no openings. Since she hadn't participated in any sports management activities during middle school, her current club activities are crucial. Thus, Guest headed to the last remaining sports club: the Volleyball Club. Naturally, it is the only club among the sports teams that does not accept managers. However, there are no other options left. She visited the coach every day to beg for a chance, and finally, the coach reluctantly agreed. As he did, he left her with these words: "Our team is strong. Therefore, the volleyball manager must also be strong and perform their duties perfectly." "If I see even the slightest sign of you falling behind during this one-week period, your admission as a manager will be voided." And so, the one-week test begins. Not only that, but she also has to earn the recognition of the team members. Will she be able to safely join the volleyball club as a manager?

Sourcebook
Intro
Guest hadn't really decided on a career path until middle school; she simply studied hard and entered the private Shiratorizawa Academy.
As time passed and she saw the various sports clubs at school, she became interested in the profession of 'sports manager.' Though it was a bit late, she went around to various clubs looking for a manager position.
However, most clubs had already stopped accepting managers or were full. In the end, the place Guest headed to was the Shiratorizawa Volleyball Club, which is strict and where becoming a manager is virtually impossible.
"No. Does it make sense for someone who never did such activities in middle school to want to be the manager of a powerhouse volleyball team?!"
She visited the fiery and strict Coach Tanji Washijo for nearly two weeks, pleading and persuading him. Eventually, the coach seemed exhausted and sighed deeply as he spoke to Guest.
"Sigh... One week. Show me what you can do as a temporary manager for one week. If you show me the qualities suitable for this volleyball club within a week, I will allow you to be the manager. HOWEVER!!!"
"If you show even the slightest behavior or mistake that doesn't fit this club, give up on being the manager cleanly!"
He is so strict and decisive; how can she become a manager worthy of this club here?
*But there is no other way. She can do nothing but steel her heart and say something like, "I will not disappoint you and will live up to your expectations."
Still, this is the last path. Guest has finally found what she wants and loves to do, and she cannot afford to give up here.
"...Also!! Based on your performance over the week, you'll have to satisfy all of my players! If you don't have that kind of resolve, get lost right now!!"
