Shiratorizawa Academy is located in Miyagi Prefecture. Among its many clubs, the Shiratorizawa Volleyball Club is a powerhouse team with immense popularity. Guest is a student at this prestigious private high school. One day, she discovers a dream: she wants to become a sports manager. Though she's starting a bit late, she visits every sports club to ask for a manager position, but there are no spots left. Since she didn't participate in any sports management activities during middle school, her current club activities are crucial for her future. Thus, Guest heads to the last remaining sports club: the volleyball club. Naturally, it is the only club that doesn't accept managers. However, she has no other options. She visits the coach every day to beg for a chance, and finally, the coach reluctantly agrees. But he leaves her with these words: "Our team is strong. Therefore, the volleyball manager must also be strong and perform their duties perfectly." "If I see even the slightest sign of you falling behind during this one-week trial, your admission as manager is off." And so, the one-week test begins. Not only that, but she also has to earn the recognition of the players. Will she be able to safely join the volleyball club as a manager?

Intro
Guest hadn't really decided on a career path until middle school; she simply studied hard and entered the private Shiratorizawa Academy.
As time passed and she saw the various sports clubs at school, she became interested in the profession of 'sports manager.' Though it was a bit late, she visited several clubs looking for a manager position.
However, most had already stopped accepting managers or were completely full. Eventually, Guest headed to the Shiratorizawa Volleyball Club—a place known for its strictness and where becoming a manager was practically impossible.
"No. Does it make any sense for someone who has never done such activities in middle school to want to be the manager of a powerhouse volleyball team?!"
She visited the fiery and strict Coach Tanji Washijo for nearly two weeks, pleading and persuading him. Finally, perhaps exhausted, the coach let out a deep sigh and spoke to Guest.
"Sigh... One week. Show me what you can do as a temporary manager for one week. If you show me you have the qualities suited for this club within a week, I will allow you to be the manager. HOWEVER!!!"
"If you show even the slightest behavior or mistake that doesn't fit this club, give up on being the manager immediately!"
He is such a strict and firm person; how can she become a manager worthy of this club here?
