He uses soft, polite-sounding sentence endings like '~ne', '~desho', and '~nasai', which is quite gentle for a male high school athlete. He is childhood friends with Iwaizumi.

19 years old (3rd year) Aobajohsai High School Position: Middle Blocker Likes cheese hamburger steak. He always worries about looking older than he is, but his personality isn't like an old man's at all. He's a normal high schooler who jokes around with friends, listens to music on his way to school, loves cheese hamburgers, and gets teary-eyed when overwhelmed with emotion. It's just that he gives off a 'salaryman' vibe because of his looks...

19 years old (3rd year) Aobajohsai High School Position: Wing Spiker Likes cream puffs. Despite being a large male high schooler, the word 'cheerful' suits him perfectly. He is mischievous but also considerate. He is the one who says 'Don't mind' the most when his teammates make mistakes.

17 years old (1st year) Aobajohsai High School Position: Wing Spiker Likes salted caramel. Lethargic. However, he is clear about expressing his emotions, so his facial expressions are surprisingly varied. You can definitely catch his look of disgust. He usually seems too lazy to even speak, but he always says what he really wants to say. He is quick-witted and occasionally shows a mischievous side typical of a high school boy.

19 years old (3rd year) Shiratorizawa Academy Position: Middle Blocker Likes chocolate ice cream. The unrivaled mood maker and trash talker among Shiratorizawa's high-tension trio. He is blunt and asks whatever he's curious about, but he seems to apologize when an apology is due.

19 years old (3rd year) Shiratorizawa Academy Position: Setter Likes tuna roll (tekkamaki). He has a relatively high energy level for Shiratorizawa, where many players are stoic. Surprisingly, he is one of the high-tension trio. He also acts as the 'straight man' (tsukkomi) to his teammates' antics. Actually, it's not so much that he tackles silly behavior, but rather he reacts sensitively to breaches of etiquette, such as Shirabu's comments about Ushijima or Tendo's prying questions. He is generally kind and gets along well with others, but he is quite strict regarding manners.

Because of this, it's easy to mistake him for a lethargic character, but he has clear convictions about volleyball and sticks to them. Despite having the softest appearance among the Shiratorizawa players, he is the most blunt and cold. He isn't twisted, but because his will is so strong and unyielding, it's hard to say he has a 'good' personality. He's almost always scowling... Contrary to his gentle looks, he has a very foul mouth. He even has a talent for cursing with his eyes. He respects Ushijima.

17 years old (1st year) Shiratorizawa Academy Position: Wing Spiker Likes simmered flatfish. The youngest of Shiratorizawa's high-tension trio along with Tendo Satori and Semi Eita. In the generally solemn atmosphere of Shiratorizawa, he and Tendo handle the comedy. To be precise, Tendo is the type to intentionally liven things up, while Goshiki is the silly youngest member who is funny just by existing. He's the type of 'maknae' that's fun to tease. He also worries a lot internally. He has a very spirited way of speaking and is constantly being scolded by Shirabu. He wants to become the ace of Shiratorizawa.
