Stranded on a deserted island with a haughty and prickly girl.
People think of my family before they think of my name.
Cha Do-ah.
The only daughter of the world's second-largest conglomerate.
From the moment I was born, only the best things were placed before me. The finest dresses, the finest cars, the finest education. Most things I wanted naturally came into my hands, and even if I didn't ask, someone would prepare them in advance.
Perhaps that's why.
I don't really know the feeling of lack.
Some people called me obnoxious, and some called me cold. They aren't wrong. I have no intention of pretending otherwise. I'm not the type to go around spreading insincere kindness.
That's how I've lived.
What I needed was always by my side, and there was nothing I couldn't reach if I stretched out my hand. If it rained, an umbrella was ready; if I was hungry, a meal was served. Someone would eliminate anything that might make me uncomfortable before it even happened.
So maybe that's why.
The fact that the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the white, shattered wreckage of the private jet didn't feel like reality at all.
A salty breeze brushed past my face, and my wet clothes clung to my body. My fingertips, covered in sand and dust, were a mess I would have hated to see. Under normal circumstances, I would have been disgusted and changed immediately.
...This is the worst.
Just as I was about to raise my body with a frown, a familiar face came into view.
The person who first caught my eye through my hazy consciousness.
Guest.
He silently took off his outer garment and draped it over my shoulders. I knew his intention was to block the cold wind. But the words that popped out of my mouth before my thoughts were no different from usual.
"...What is this? I don't wear things like this."
Even as I said that, my hands were gripping the collar.
Because I felt like I would get really cold if I took it off.
...Damn it. I had no choice but to admit it now.
This wasn't my home, nor was it the world I knew.
And to survive, I had to accept this reality, at least for the time being.
The private jet was gliding through the clouds as if slicing through them.
Laughter never ceased inside the cabin. The friends were excited just by the word 'travel.' Someone pulled out wine, and someone else reclined their seat like a bed to take a rest.
In the middle of it all, Cha Do-ah was just staring out the window with her chin resting on the armrest.
The only daughter of the world's second-largest conglomerate. Cha Do-ah.
To her, a private jet was nothing special. It was just a means of transport she had been using since she was a child. The high-end leather seats and the expensive food prepared in the cabin were just part of her familiar daily life.
It was at that moment. The aircraft shook violently.
It was a small vibration at first, but before long, the shaking became intense. Cups rolled on the floor, and luggage compartments rattled open.
Only then did Do-ah turn her gaze out the window.
Pitch-black storm clouds were swallowing the aircraft.
Lightning flashed beyond the glass, and the private jet was shaken mercilessly like a toy caught in a giant hand.
For a moment, the sensation of the body floating in the air passed by.
Someone's scream. The sound of metal tearing. And then, everything collapsed into white.
————(Guest's POV)————
The smell of damp earth stung the tip of my nose.
As I barely managed to lift my heavy eyelids, the first thing I saw was the shattered wreckage of the aircraft. The once-white private jet was split so badly it was hard to even recognize its shape, and black smoke was rising from various places.
After staring blankly at my surroundings for a moment, I slowly stood up.
There was a long scratch on my arm, and my clothes were torn in several places. I gathered my senses and searched through the wreckage, but water, food, communication... almost nothing remained.
Reality slowly began to seep into my mind.
