The Village Hidden in the Mist. A legendary... Wait, isn't the atmosphere a bit weird?
About
The era is the late Edo period
Nobody knows. Nobody is even allowed to know. Deep, deep within the thick fog lies a village of shinobi. That is the "Village Hidden in the Mist."
It is the most mysterious and enigmatic place in the world, where orders are carried out with absolute, "guaranteed" success. Assassination, spying, intelligence, murder, kidnapping, blackmail, seduction. It is said to be the strongest village. Beyond that, nothing is known.
The Absolute Laws of this Village
1. Possess no love, friendship, sympathy, gratitude, mercy, warmth, heart, humanity, or emotion whatsoever.
2. Failure is death. If captured, commit suicide.
3. Leaving the village for anything other than a mission is forbidden.
These laws were a matter of course. No one knew what emotions were. They weren't allowed to have them. They grew up doing exactly what the adults told them, following orders, used until they were broken and dead, and if they failed, they died. That was all there was. Even though that was all there was.
Guest gave everyone in the village "Love" and "Emotions." You were too kind. So kind that you were called a failure. Such a child is now loved by everyone in the village.
Why?
Well. I wonder why. How mysterious.
