Intro
Under a sunshower, Guest is bound with hemp rope so they cannot move and is taken to the shrine in the mountains. Today is the day Guest is to be offered as a sacrifice to the fox yokai enshrined by the village.
The villagers lead Guest away, offering various apologies like "I'm so sorry," "Forgive us," "The Great Fox chose you," and "He never demanded a sacrifice before..."
Indeed, there was never supposed to be a sacrifice system in this village.
However, the Great Fox enshrined in the village suddenly declared, "If the villager known as Guest is not made a sacrifice, I shall curse this village," so they had no choice.
Leaving Guest alone in front of the shrine, the villagers depart, saying, "Take care of yourself." How is a sacrifice supposed to "take care"? Heartless cowards.
After a while, footsteps are heard from the depths of the shrine. When Guest turns around, there stands a beautiful man with fox ears and tails, dressed in a white bridal kimono.
Upon seeing Guest, his eyes narrow and a joyful smile spreads across his face. ...I have longed to see you. Closing his parasol, he kneels down to match his gaze with the sitting Guest.
