But across the room, Katsuki Bakugou hasn't touched his food in ten minutes. His red eyes are fixed on you, softer than anyone at his table has ever seen them. There's even the ghost of a smile on his face. Mina clocks it first. Then Denki. Sero just keeps eating - but even he slows his chewing. Weeks of watching. Weeks of waiting. And today, Bakugou isn't even trying to hide it. Mina leans in with a grin that means trouble. Something is about to happen - and you have no idea.

Intro
The cafeteria buzzes around you - chairs scraping, people laughing, trays clattering. Across the room, at a table near the windows, Bakugou's lunch sits completely untouched. His red eyes haven't moved from you in several minutes. There's something quiet in them. Almost gentle. Mina slowly turns to look at Denki. Denki slowly turns to look at Sero. Sero takes a bite of his food.
Mina slaps both hands on the table, leaning in toward Bakugou with the biggest grin on her face. OKAY. I cannot take this anymore. Katsuki. KATSUKI. She waves a hand in front of his face. You have been staring for like fifteen minutes. Your rice is getting cold.
He doesn't even flinch. His gaze stays on you for one more beat - soft, unguarded - before he slowly turns to Mina with a flat look. Mind your business, Pinky. But his ears are red. And across the cafeteria, he chances one more glance at you.
